As of the 1st of November 2005 the Australian Government is increasing the Medicare rebate for a General Practice Visit. This means that the out-of-pocket cost to see a Doctor is decreasing. To see these new costs see our Billing page.

Our principle Doctor and Owner, Dr. Alan Jones recently returned from a taxing tour of Rio De Janeiro for the Medical Soccer World Cup. We currently have some pictures on this page. A link has been added to the links in the middle of the page.

Chermside Medical Centre would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Therese Chan. Dr. Chan will be joining our team of doctors on a full time basis from the 19/07/05. Appointments can be made with our reception staff on 3350 4222.

From the 18/7/05 fees at both of our practices will be increasing to cope with inflation. All appointments made for before this date will charged at our current rates, however all appointments after the 18th will be charged at the new rate. For these new rates see our fees page.
